I have been looking into AngularJS on some open projects. I’ve developted a few very basic tests and I’m looking at how we can scale the tests moving forward. I am also looking into a joint co-design of a podcast website as a better test of shared code projects.
Week three of the Lambda School mini code bootcamp. Looking forward to more complex issues that take a bit of extra brain power to figure out. At a glance it looks like a deeper dive into functions and calling them.
Yes, it has been a long time since my last “week” of code. No I am not starting over for the 100th time, even though I should. I am, however, starting something new. I will be joining a 3 week “mini-bootcamp” by Lambda School which started on Monday, Feb 5 2008.
This week has NOT been a great week. I have failed to work each day this week as is expected. I did work a bit extra on Day 1 in anticipation of not working Day three, but I still expected at least an hour on Day 5 and Day 6. I did get past my goal in FCC for the week so I am not completely distraught but it does not bode well for the habbit forming process we want this to generate.
Week 2 has clearly been a bit overdue. I am getting back into the swing of things and now have an accountability partner as a friend joins the challenge!
A successful first week is now under my belt! I must say that I am surprised that there was so many other people leaving feedback through my twitter updates on my daily progress. I feel like I’m moving at a good pace through the FCC program so far and look forward to continuing this process.
I am starting #100DaysOfCode officially on 6/20/2016. This will be based loosely on Alexander Kallaway’s post. The main difference is the first few weeks will focused more on learning and then near the end I hope to have a few simple projects under my belt.
